Mission Statement

Ezra Millard Elementary, in partnership with our community, guarantees each student demonstrates academic growth and responsible citizenship to reach individual excellence by engaging students in innovative and diverse opportunities.

Objectives

  • All students will meet and/or exceed district and state standards.
  • The achievement gap between student groups will decrease annually.
  • The district's overall performance on district, state, and national assessments will increase annually.
  • Individual student growth on district, state and national assessments will increase annually and exceed national targets.
  • The percentage of students participating in and performing on high levels on measures of national and/or international educational excellence will increase annually.
  • All students will exemplify the positive behaviors necessary for personal excellence, character development, and responsible citizenship.

Strategies

  1.  We will meet diverse student needs to increase academic growth and achievement.
  2. We will capitalize on our high levels of engagement to enrich our sense of community among all staff, students and families.
  3. We will evaluate and refine our behavioral, social and emotional support systems in order to meet our students' changing needs.
