PBiS is our school-wide behavior framework developed by our staff. PBiS helps students to learn the behavior expectations for the classroom and common areas of our school. These clear and concise expectations improve our school climate and positively impact teaching and learning for all students.
Our staff have worked together to develop lessons to teach and reinforce these expectations in several ways. Throughout the year students rotate through stations or do group activities to reinforce expectations in common areas. Teachers focus on a PBiS skill each week in the classroom and have expectations posted in classrooms and common areas.
In conjunction with the Millard Public School District Code of Conduct and PBiS, students at Ezra use the SOAR acronym to help maintain a safe environment that fosters growth and development.
